Michael has been advising people on how to practice Ayurveda for wellness for over 20 years. He began studying Ayurveda in the 80's and Dr. Deepak Chopra invited Michael to participate in a two-year master's level curriculum in Maharishi Ayurveda, which he completed in 1993. Michael also completed the Ayurvedic Studies Program (ASP) and several iterations of Gurukula at The Ayurvedic Institute, where he subsequently taught the re-formatted ASP course as well as courses for advanced students that he designed — such herbology, classical texts, and study of quality. Michael founded the Dhanvantari Ayurveda Center in Florida, where he is now based. The Dhanvantari Ayurveda Center's mission is to spread the spiritually-oriented health message of Ayurveda.
