The BC-601 sends a safe, low signal from eight hand- and foot-plate electrodes through the body. The measured resistance to the flow (Bio-electrical Impedance Analysis) is fed into researched equations to provide accurate and personalized body composition readings. The retractable hand-grips allow full-body composition to be taken quickly and with increased accuracy, whilst the handle-display allows for easy access to the readings. A calendar function is included. The SD compatibility of the BC-601 allows comparison graphs to be displayed on a computer, offering a history for each segment of the body and for each of the body composition readings so the user can see their progress. The backlit buttons and animated illustrations are clear and user-friendly.
