The BC545N sends a safe, low signal from eight hand- and foot-plate electrodes through the body. The measured resistance to the flow (Bio-electrical Impedance Analysis) is fed into researched equations to provide accurate and personalized body composition readings. The retractable hand-grips allow full-body composition to be taken quickly and with increased accuracy. A calendar function is included. Comparison graphs display a history for each segment of the body and for each of the body composition readings so the user can see their progress: daily, weekly and monthly, over a 3-year period. The backlit buttons and animated illustrations are clear and user-friendly.
