The women’s New Balance 1400v2 is looking to build on the global success of its predecessor in the lightweight stability space. New Balance know the formula works and this shoe is all about refining, modernizing and elevating what they have done in the past.
The 1400v2 continues to utilize a responsive REVlite midsole with a higher density medial post and T-BEAM to provide a level of support and torsional stability in the shoe for this runner. New Balance have changed the outsole configuration and added more rubber in high-wear areas to help improve traction and durability.
In the upper, a combination of breathable air mesh and no-sew welded FantomFit overlays help provide both the structure and flexibility this runner is looking for in this fast-feeling, sleek shoe. Additional structure in the saddle through materials and a new internal tongue construction help to support the foot and provide the snug fit in key areas.
